We can help you keep memories of your loved ones with you by creating cute and huggable cushions from their clothing .
The finished cushion is approximately 41cm, (16in) square. They are not suitable for babies and young children as they contain small parts such as buttons from shirts or other motifs which could pose a choking hazard.
We can usually make them out of different fabrics, however T shirts, Polo shirts, Sweatshirts, Dress Shirts & Trousers, baby grows and lightweight linen, Denim or Corduroy would be best. We will interface the fabrics to provide the best finish for the cushions to be cherished for many years to come.
It is helpful to have a selection of garments to choose a design best suited for the cushions, and if you have specific requests about the overall look of your cushion, please feel free to message us. We will try to accommodate personal ideas such as keeping specific parts of your loved one’s special fabrics within the design of your cushion, i.e logos from clothing, pockets or other marks, or special stitches. We will endeavour to incorporate as many things from the fabrics as we can for you, however this can sometimes lead to problems with the finished result but are happy to chat through with you so we can try to get what’s important to you in the end.
Garments must arrive to us clean and laundered for best results, orders may have to be returned if we are unable to work with the fabrics, but we will try our best to give you a beautiful cushion to remind you of your special person.
A few different garment can be sent to make the cushions, and these can be coordinated or “scrappy“ whatever you would like. The leftover fabric can be returned to you if required but this will incur an additional charge as we would send this by tracked post in addition to the finished cushion.
If you are purchasing a cushion, you can receive a 10% discount on the cost of additional cushions.
Fabric equivalent to 4/5 adult dress shirts would yield a cushion and bear with fabric leftover and offer enough choice to have a “scrappy” feel to the finished products.
Once we have received your fabrics, we should be able to complete your order within 3 to 4 weeks depending on our current orders.
